Sounds of an Isolated Routine

by Keshini Harry

I wanted to create familiar sounds that bring out a small sense of reassurance. A small sense of comfort since this year has not been the best. This sound pack is made up of sounds one would likely hear as they spend time alone. All sounds can be used as background noise, especially the sounds of the shower, pages flipping, ice coffee, and typing are familiar sounds that could be used as background noise. The sound of the dryer machine starting up can be used for more than that if needed. Or they can be used as interludes/ breaks in a song to help create s story or a closer connection to the audience. The same goes for the game controller and sewing machine.

The last track is a song that I thought about in the early hours of the morning. I call it ‘Sunrise’ because it is in the early hours of the morning where we can appreciate a new day.
